The Northern Alliance is composed of regionally based Park Residents' Associations representing Parks between Tweed Heads and Macksville who have combined to form a united front of permanent park residents.
The Alliance is unique in that each of the individual park residents' associations deal with those issues of a purely local nature such as breaches of Local Government Regulations, administering residential parks and villages by park managements and even local councils, fighting excessive rent increases and each hold regular members' meetings to inform them of what each Executive Committee is doing and where local issues are discussed and action decided upon.
All PRAs are non-profit organisations and the officers and committee members are unpaid.
